MITA

The Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2004 to promote Malaysia's inbound and domestic tourism sectors. MITA advocates for policies and support for the industry, represents its members' interests, and works to market Malaysia as a tourist destination through promotional activities and digital marketing efforts.

MATTA

MATTA is the acronym for the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents, a leading body that represents private sector businesses in the Malaysian travel and tourism industry. It is also the name of the large, biannual travel fair it organizes in Malaysia, which offers travel deals and packages, according to the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) website and the Facebook page. The term can also refer to Kerala Matta rice, a type of nutritious rice from India.

SABAH TOURISM BOARD

The Sabah Tourism Board is the state government agency responsible for promoting Sabah as a tourist destination, with a focus on eco-tourism. It markets the region's natural attractions, culture, and wildlife to both domestic and international markets. The board works to ensure sustainable tourism growth and collaborates with industry players, government bodies, and its subsidiary, Sri Pelancongan Sabah Sdn Bhd.
